Can Matt Ryan Take the Next Step

Matt Ryan has been in the NFL for four seasons, but has yet to make a splash in the playoffs. He wasn’t even able to drive the Falcons down the field to score even a field goal in his most playoff game against the New York Giants. His struggles have not been downplayed by the media, however, what isn’t being noted is that he clearly has the skills and weapons around him to take the Falcons on a run if he plays the way we have seen him play at times. Remember his comeback drive against the Ravens on a Thursday night game two seasons ago, remember when he threw for 29 touchdowns and only 12 interceptions a season ago? Matt Ryan is ready to move up into the top-tier of quarterbacks, but first her must prove himself in the playoffs.

Remember, not all quarterbacks are able to get behind center and just carry a team to a Super Bowl, it isn’t abnormal for a quarterback to experience a lot of upsets before they experience triumph. But this season is the Matt Ryan’s chance to lead the Falcons to a top seed and a playoff run. With the Saints being crippled by bounty-gate, the Falcons are in the drivers seat to come out on top of the NFC South. But how about Falcons nation, do you have faith in Matt Ryan?
